The aluminium core shields the cards stored inside it. Outside leather pockets are for convenient access and do not provide the same shielding.

This wallet is really compact, you can fit a lot of cards (there are 8 slots, I'm currently using 7). What I like about it is that it fits your cash right in plus cards without the bulk. I used to own a money clip with card slots, but cards usually fall off when other slots are empty. This wallet is also made from genuine leather, which I really like since it adds a premium vibe to it compared to vegan options. You just have to take care of it I guess, to avoid marks and creases. Bonus is branding is very subtle. Highly recommended.
